Philadelphia roll wasn’t even one of the possible subs for the items. Not only was 80% of the entire order substituted, but I got just two $6 trays of Philadelphia roll sushi to feed the whole family. I picked three possible substitutions for every item. Last night I placed a $100 order for sushi for dinner for the family. I still tip the dasher because it’s not their fault. Now Hy-Vee shops and DoorDash picks up just like Hyvee’s own service. Sometimes we order Hy-Vee actually through DoorDash instead of Hy-Vee and the dashers would do the shopping and get it right (or call me when they couldn't find something). And I can’t get it from the store a mile away, it comes from a store not in my neighborhood. Every single order I get has between 25% and 75% out of stock or substituted items.

I’m annoyed I have to tip drivers now because I know they need to make a living and it’s not their fault Hy-Vee stinks. Hyvee doesn’t deliver direct anymore and has DoorDash do it.
#Hyvee deliveries plus#
I pay for delivery service using their Perks Plus program. I'm no longer impressed with the franchise. I've worked in grocery and cashier, hell, I still face shelves when I shop out of habit, it's really not difficult.
#Hyvee deliveries how to#
Pallets left in the middle of the aisles, cashiers don't know how to ring up water correctly, it's not that hard. Moved to a small town, use to do all my shopping at hyvee, now I stray away. I've seen employee's being reprimanded while they were trying to help me (a paying customer!) I have fond childhood memories of my grandpa taking us kids to Hyvee for sunday breakfast, never had a problem in the city. They switched my city so that I can't get relevant deals and pricing, (and they keep switching it to a city I have never been to!) I couldn't even order groceries if I wanted to. They need to fix the website, I've emailed them multiple times and they are too incompetent for the basic fix. It use to be great, now going way down hill. I've been going to Hy-vee stores since I was a child. Grocery delivery is the future - don't be a Blockbuster. Not paying attention to their mess of a delivery system is bad move. I just put it in and get my stuff with any appropriate substitutions chosen just fine. I do NOT get 30 texts while they shop my order asking me questions that I already left notes about. I've left detailed notes by each item, but it doesn't matter. I fill out their little "substitution/no substition" checkmarks, but it doesn't matter. We are always missing 50% of our order items, they go through DoorDash now, so I tip them online (it's not their fault HyVee is bad at filling orders), but if my order is $100 of stuff, I tip DoorDash $10 ahead of time, but the order comes and it's only $45 of stuff. But the last 1-2 years has been horrible. We pay the $100/year and it has always been worth it.

We have done HyVee delivery for 5+ years. You can tell the health of a society by the way they treat their weakest and most vulnerable people.

Also leave reviews and tell them to seek out the same resources and make complaints about what's going on. You are the most vulnerable people in society and you don't deserve to be treated like that. You're standing up for yourself and you're standing up for people like you. I don't want to detour you from shopping at Hy-Vee pharmacy but if you do and you feel you have experienced discrimination you need to file these complaints. Trying to make complaints within Hy-Vee will just lead you in circles. And other government agencies to make complaints. If you feel you have experienced discrimination from Hy-Vee and are disabled you need to contact health and human services, as well as the better business bureau. I believe that Hy-Vee is discriminating against people based on sex race and disability and many more. I believe this could be because they're understaffed and don't want to serve the weaker more vulnerable poor people in society. Then they're going to keep stalling and hope that you go somewhere else. They will also act as if they don't even know they have prescriptions to fill for you. If you are new to the Hy-Vee pharmacy and you are disabled they can see that in their system. I believe Hy-Vee does not like or want people that are disabled filling prescriptions there.
